About Mrs. Carter
This is my 27th year teaching first grade here at St. Stephen Martyr. I love watching the kids learn and the interesting ways they look at life. I have a Bachelors of Science in Elementary Education and a Masters of Education from the University of Louisville. I have one child, my daughter Delaney. She was a student here
and after her great education moved on to Assumption High School where she graduated in 2011. She decided to head to the University of Kentucky, to get away from home. The University of Louisville fans at home weren't too excited about that but so far she seems to love UK. This is her senior year, and we will have a UK graduate!
I'm looking forward to a great year! I'm lucky to have two part time assistants this year, Mrs. Lisa Desmond and Mrs. Karen Anderson, who will be doing double duty working in 1st grade and Kindergarten. We should have a wonderful learning year. I look forward to teaching the kids and watching them grow into readers, writers, mathematicians, scientists or anything they desire. I appreciate all the support I get from partner teachers and parents.
